Another post inspird by my moody inner garden gnome. Who is he? Just click here and here.
If you’ve read the posts about my moody inner garden gnome you know I’ve done one of these before. It’s really just a post about some quotes I like and that might inspire you.

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.”
– Confucius
I really think Confucius has never heard of a traffic light. Although he might be color blind. That would explain a lot.

“If you can dream it, you can do it.”
– Walt Disney
Well, if your name is Walt Disney and you have billions of dollars you can.

“Don’t watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going.”
– Sam Levenson
Tick, tock.

“A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.”
– Ayn Rand
I personally think that beating someone else can really help relieve stress. Give them a high five in the face with a chair!

“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”
– Mark Twain
Procrastinators, unite… Tommorow!

“Expect problems and eat them for breakfast.”
– Alfred A. Montapert
I prefer a bacon and eggs.

“There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.”
– Aldous Huxley
Or you could just come to my corner. Here everyone is welcome!

“Even if you fall on your face, you’re still moving forward.”
– Victor Kiam
The truth has been spoken!

“Who seeks shall find.”
– Sophocles
Has anyone seen my glasses?

“Every exit is an entry somewhere else.”
– Tom Stoppard
This is some deep sh*t!

“Follow your inner moonlight; don’t hide the madness.”
– Allen Ginsberg
‘Dude, stop yelling. Relax!’

Have a nice Thursday.

Things-That-People-I-Don’t-Know-Said-That-Inspire-Me-Thursday #1

My Thursdays are always the one day I try to make you feel better. By thanking something or someone I just want to show that there’s always something to be grateful about. I’m one of those people that loves to complain about things and Thursday is the one day I try to be positive. Well, I’m positive while I write the post for that day, after that I go back to being my usual self: the dark, moody and complaining garden gnome. (Have you ever realized those things have this huge and creepy smile on their face, but you just know that deep down they’re really angry?)  So, today I’m going to write an entire post about quotes that make me feel better when my moody inner garden gnome takes over.

“You have to learn the rules of the game. And then you have to play better than anyone else.”
– Albert Einstein
Because everyone knows that the person that cheats always wins!

“I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”
– Jimmy Dean
Destination: My Bed!

“Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!”
– Audrey Hepburn
The same can be said for image, I’m age.

“Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.”
– Maya Angelou
That’s what she said.

“Listen to many, speak to a few.”
– William Shakespeare.
In other words: Be a stalker, be awkward. A rule to live by

“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.”
– Aristotle Onassis
Or you could just look for the light switch.

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”
– Theodore Roosevelt
Does the fact that I live in a town called Halfway mean I’m already three-quarter way there?

“Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain… To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices – today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.”
– Kevyn Aucoin
Well if I get to choose, I choose Pikachu.

“There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.”
– Edith Wharton
Let’s just hope the mirror won’t break when you look at it.

“We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.”
– Ronald Reagan
Anyone out there that wants to help me?

“Whoever is happy will make others happy too.”
– Anne Frank
I wouldn’t dare make a joke about Anne Frank.

“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.’”
– Muhammad Ali
Unless you don’t want to be a champion.

My moody inner garden gnome just turned his frown upside down.

Have a nice Thursday.
